The Acoustic Technologies FR07 Full Range Loudspeaker Cabinet is the result of an extensive and on-going program to develop the very best double 15” and horn loudspeaker system on the market to date.
The FR07 is a finely tuned dual chamber enclosure fitted with two 800 Watt, 15” bass drivers and an extremely efficient 2” high frequency compression driver. The HF driver is coupled to a high density, 100°(H) x 40°(V) controlled dispersion horn flare. An optimised passive crossover network is an integral component of this superb loudspeaker enclosure. Optional switching allows the cabinet to be used in systems with active crossovers.
The FR07 exhibits an outstanding 1750 Watt power handling capability combined with ultra low distortion and a smooth, extended frequency response. The FR07 is an ideal loudspeaker system for Dance Clubs, Live Music Venues, Corporate Installations, Houses of Worship or any situation where portability is an important consideration. The FR07 enclosure is constructed of high quality 18mm Finnish Birch Ply. A wide range of hardware, grill and cabinet finishing options are available. The transducers are protected by a rugged expanded steel grille. Acoustically transparent PVC foam is bonded to the mesh, providing a durable, visually appealing finish.
The FR07 passive crossover provides a seamless transition between the transducers. The crossover frequency is selected to enhance the already superb performance of the individual components. Great care is taken to ensure that a phase coherent output is maintained across the entire audio bandwidth.
Sensitivity, Maximum Power and SPL measurements are conducted in accordance with the AES 24 Hour Pink Noise Standard. Acoustic Technologies reserve the right to alter or amend the FR07, without prior warning in the interests of product improvement.
