Built in the late 1800’s, the Normanby Hotel has long been a Brisbane institution. As time had passed age had wearied her and it was time to modernise the Hotel to meet the changing needs and expectations of its clients.

The new Normanby Hotel not only boasts impressive aesthetics with the renovations on both the interior and exterior of the building, but also possesses an impressive automation system. This system controls the hotel’s vision and audio and has the ability to schedule and automatically execute pre-programmed operations.

This attention to detail is reflected in the installation finishes such as selection of speaker surrounds that minimise visual impact in the heritage-listed building and the installation of speakers and brackets that match with the steel structures present in the newly-developed bistro area.

The installation of an Acoustic Technologies sound system, tightly intergrated with the other audio/visual equipment installed throughout the venue, means that the Normanby Hotel not only meets the entertainment needs of its patrons now, but will continue to do so well into the future.
