The Squeeze Club, the latest nightspot from the McGuire Hotel group, is situated in the Alexandra Hills Hotel in Brisbane’s south-east sector. The ‘no-expense spared’ nightclub occupies the whole of the first floor whilst the ground floor has a restaurant, gaming area, bars and function rooms. Since opening on 7th August the patron support has been staggering for an outer suburban venue, with attendances up to 1800 per night. The venue can cater for live music as well as performance DJ’s.

The sound system consists of a new generation AT speaker system, the CRA Series, which uses line array principles to achieve a coherent, articulate wave front. The speaker systems consist of 4 x cluster arrays with each cluster containing 4x CRA212 Mid High cabinets and 2x CRA115B Bass Cabinets. A stereo high powered super tweeter array takes care of the super high frequencies whilst low frequencies are covered by the Groundswell Low Frequency Delivery System. 3x Ecler DP-300 digital speaker management processors drive 10x Ecler DT6800 Power Amplifiers.

The room fill speakers total 6x Acoustic Technologies LG09 speakers and 4x Acoustic Technologies LG04 powered by an Ecler APA600 and an Ecler APA1000 power amplifiers.

The DJ booth is equipped with 2x Technics SL1200 MKII turntables, 2x Denon DNS5000 DJ CD Players with an Ecler SLAT 8 Channel mixer and an Ecler NUO 5 Performance Mixer. A Nightlife Video DJ System feeds 15 x 42” Plasma Screens.
